Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) in Nepal

Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) enables multilingual communication for virtual and hybrid meetings without requiring interpreters to be physically present. We provide professional RSI services for conferences, workshops, legal discussions, training programmes, webinars, and international meetings involving participants from around the world.

Our interpreters are trained to work on leading RSI platforms, including Zoom, Interprefy, Greenterp, and Microsoft Teams. To ensure uninterrupted interpretation, we use professional interpretation headsets that meet international standards and maintain redundant internet connectivity with backup systems—an important consideration in Nepal, where internet and power disruptions can occasionally occur.

Experience Since the Shift to Virtual Events

The COVID-19 pandemic transformed the way international organisations communicated. As in-person events moved online in 2020, we successfully transitioned from on-site simultaneous interpretation to Remote Simultaneous Interpretation, enabling clients to continue delivering multilingual programmes without interruption.

Since then, our team has supported numerous virtual and hybrid assignments across legal, governance, education, and international development sectors.

Supporting International Organisations

Our Remote Simultaneous Interpretation experience includes supporting international organisations delivering long-term training programmes, technical workshops, legal seminars, and policy discussions.

Our interpreters have facilitated:
⦁ Online training programmes for journalists and media professionals.
⦁ Virtual legal workshops and seminars for legal practitioners and legal aid providers.
⦁ Technical training programmes delivered by international subject-matter experts.
⦁ Cross-border meetings involving government agencies, international organisations, and development partners.

These assignments required not only linguistic accuracy but also familiarity with online interpretation protocols, virtual meeting etiquette, and technical coordination.

Why Remote Simultaneous Interpretation Matters

RSI allows organisations to connect participants from different countries while maintaining the speed and quality of traditional simultaneous interpretation.

It offers:
⦁ Real-time multilingual communication
⦁ Reduced travel and logistical costs
⦁ Greater accessibility for international participants
⦁ Flexible delivery for virtual and hybrid events
⦁ Secure and efficient communication across multiple languages
