Supporting Inclusive Multilingual Research

Square Services Pvt. Ltd. provided Nepali remote simultaneous interpretation for ActionAid UK’s research co-design workshop with Women’s Rights Organisations. Our interpreters interpreted presentations on the research conducted so far and facilitated the interpretation of questions and discussions.

The workshop contributed to the development of questionnaires for an upcoming survey examining gaps in the work of Women’s Rights Organisations and the challenges faced by women’s rights defenders amid a changing funding landscape.

Making Online Interpretation Accessible

Some participants were unfamiliar with Zoom’s interpretation feature. To make participation easier, one of our interpreters joined using a separate device and provided verbal instructions on how to access the language channel.

By combining professional remote simultaneous interpretation with practical technical support, we helped facilitate inclusive participation throughout the collaborative research process.
