U.S. Department of Agriculture – Remote Simultaneous Interpretation for Technical Training

Project Overview

In June 2024, our interpreters provided Remote Simultaneous Interpretation for a series of online technical training programmes delivered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The virtual sessions connected international subject-matter experts with participants in Nepal, enabling technical knowledge to be shared efficiently across languages.

The Challenge

Technical training requires interpreters to communicate specialised terminology accurately while maintaining the pace of live instruction. Participants also needed to ask questions and receive immediate responses without language barriers affecting the learning process.

Delivering technical interpretation remotely demanded not only linguistic expertise but also reliable technology and careful coordination throughout each session.

Our Solution

Our interpreters worked using professional Remote Simultaneous Interpretation platforms supported by dedicated interpretation headsets and redundant internet connectivity. Technical preparation before each session ensured smooth multilingual communication and uninterrupted participation.

Outcome

The training programmes enabled participants to interact confidently with international experts, creating an effective multilingual learning environment while demonstrating the reliability of Remote Simultaneous Interpretation for technical capacity-building initiatives.
