Government Meeting Interpretation – Switzerland–Nepal Cooperation on Federalism

Our interpreters provided simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services during a high-level government meeting between the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Dr. Danielle Meuwly, and the Honorable Minister of Social Development of Nepal, Lumbini Province, Meghraj Khadka on May 19, 2026.

Prior to the Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting, Dr. Danielle Meuwly met with the Minister to discuss areas of cooperation between the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Nepal, with a particular focus on strengthening federalism and governance systems in Nepal.

Our interpreters facilitated this bilateral discussion through real-time simultaneous interpretation and consecutive interpretation, ensuring precise communication of technical governance, federalism, and development cooperation terminology.
The meeting required strong expertise in:
⦁ Federalism and governance terminology
⦁ Embassy–government diplomatic communication
⦁ Development cooperation and policy dialogue language

Following the bilateral meeting, a Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting was conducted. PSCs are high-level governance bodies that provide strategic direction, oversight, and budgetary guidance for development projects. These meetings typically include senior government officials, donor representatives such as the Embassy of Switzerland in Nepal, and key project stakeholders.
Our team regularly provides government meeting interpretation services in Nepal, including embassy meetings, bilateral diplomatic discussions, and PSC-level development coordination meetings involving complex policy and governance terminology
