Our Nepali interpreters provided simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for training programs conducted under the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), supported by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal.

The assignments involved a range of specialized law enforcement training courses designed to strengthen professional capacity, leadership skills, and operational effectiveness within Nepal’s law enforcement agencies.

One of the key programs was the Blue Courage Training, which focused on officer wellness, resilience, stress management, and mental health. The course addressed the unique challenges faced by law enforcement personnel throughout their careers and during retirement, emphasizing self-care and long-term wellbeing.

Our interpreters also supported Instructor Development Courses and Train-the-Trainer programs, including sessions based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and adult learning methodologies. These training equipped participants with practical skills for delivering effective law enforcement instruction and professional development programs.

Beyond classroom-based training, our interpreters provided technical interpretation support during the distribution and operation of specialized equipment donated to law enforcement agencies in Nepal. International experts conducted hands-on training on the use and maintenance of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and GPS systems, requiring interpreters to accurately communicate technical instructions, operational procedures, and safety guidelines between foreign trainers and Nepali law enforcement personnel.

These assignments required interpreters to work across a broad range of subject areas, including law enforcement operations, leadership development, instructional methodologies, officer wellness, vehicle operations, navigation systems, and technical equipment training.
