On December 8, 2021, our Nepali interpreter provided consecutive interpretation services during a large-scale vehicle handover ceremony organized by Heifer International Nepal.

The event marked the handover of 47 agri-transport vehicles to women’s cooperatives representing 22 districts across Nepal. The ceremony brought together more than 5,000 women farmers, Provincial Ministers, political leaders, cooperative representatives, and senior management from Heifer International’s global leadership team.

Our interpreter facilitated communication between Nepali-speaking participants and international representatives throughout the program, ensuring that speeches, announcements, and key messages were accurately conveyed to all stakeholders.

The assignment required strong public-event interpretation skills, as communication had to remain clear and engaging in front of a large audience comprising government officials, development practitioners, cooperative leaders, and women farmers from diverse regions of Nepal.
