Nepal Interpreters

Our Journey

Home / About Us

2012 — Foundation

Founded in 2012, we began providing professional interpretation and translation services to government agencies, international organizations, development partners, researchers, and businesses operating in Nepal.

2012–2018 — Specialized

Interpretation for Law Enforcement & Technical Training
We developed expertise in high-stakes interpretation assignments by supporting international law enforcement, peacekeeping, and technical training programs. Our interpreters worked in specialized environments involving crime scene investigation, public order management, instructor development, and operational training. During this period, we also trained new interpreters to meet growing demand and provided translation of technical manuals, training materials, and operational documents for government agencies and international organizations.

2018–2020 — Legal, Governance, Federalism and Disaster

As our expertise grew, we kept on expanding into legal and law enforcement related interpretation. In 2015, Nepal entered into Federalism, thus our interpreters had to adapt to new terminologies related with Federalism and governance. In April, 2015, there was a massive earthquake in Nepal- our translators had to assist in numerous interpretation and transcription assignments related to disaster preparedness and recovery.

2020 — Transition to Remote Simultaneous Interpretation

The COVID-19 pandemic transformed the interpretation industry worldwide. We quickly adapted by introducing Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) solutions, supporting online conferences, virtual trainings, webinars, and international meetings. This transition allowed organizations to continue multilingual communication despite travel restrictions and physical distancing requirements.

2020–Present — Interpretation Equipment & Technical Solutions

To provide a complete multilingual communication solution, we expanded into interpretation equipment rental and technical event support. Today, we supply interpretation booths, wireless receiver systems, portable simultaneous interpretation devices, PA systems, conference audiovisual equipment, and on-site technical support for events throughout Nepal.

2021–2024 — Diplomatic, Development & International Engagements

Our work increasingly involved diplomatic meetings, policy dialogues, development programs, and international exchanges. During this period, we supported high-level delegations, multilateral discussions, and field-based assignments, including multilingual relay interpretation between Nepali, English, and Portuguese during an indigenous knowledge exchange program in Brazil.

2024 — Expansion of Translation & Documentation Services

Building on our interpretation experience, we expanded our translation portfolio to include legal, technical, educational, human rights, and development-sector documentation. Our team has supported international organizations, donor agencies, research institutions, and government projects requiring accurate and culturally appropriate translations.

2025 — Multilingual Conferences & International Dialogue Platforms

We provided simultaneous, consecutive, relay, and whispered interpretation for international conferences, migration dialogues, diplomatic visits, legal proceedings, and high-level policy discussions. These assignments involved complex multilingual environments and participants from governments, international organizations, and civil society particularly related with climate change, Indigenous people and Community forest. Our interpreters began supporting immigration interviews, legal depositions, forensic interviews, witness statements, and other proceedings requiring verbatim interpretation, accuracy, and strict confidentiality.
