As a journalist and author, words are very important to me. I want to know exactly what my sources are saying. When I work with Anish I know that is what I will get, direct translation. But Anish’s talent goes beyond interpreting words. If I ask a question that requires cultural interpretation, Anish determines what information I need and finds a way to obtain it in a culturally appropriate manner.

The stories I write are about people. Connecting with my sources is key. Anish is always engaged and respectful, showing sympathy, joy, sadness or upset when needed but never inserting his opinion.
